When requesting repeat prescriptions our preferred method is via the NHS Wales App
To access GP services online via the app, you must:
- Be registered with a GP practice in Wales
- Have a full verified NHS login, or a valid photo ID to set one up
- Be aged 16 or over
Otherwise, if you are signed-up with the pharmacy managed prescription service offered by your local pharmacy, please continue to hand your repeat requests into them and they can liaise with the practice to get them ordered for you.
The surgery has stopped accepting requests over the phone.

Unfortunately we do not take requests for prescriptions by phone due to possible mistakes with drug doses.
Patients with a stable medical condition on regular medication are issued with a "repeat" order form. This is printed on the counterfoil on the right hand side of the computer-printed prescription. If you are not taking any of the medications on the list please let the staff know.
When medicines are due to run out, tick the items you are nearly running short of then post into the postbox to the side of the main reception desk. Alternatively, download a repeat prescription request form (DOCX, 13KB) and return the completed form to the practice. You can also mail it to us. If you enclose a SAE we can mail you back the prescription.
You can specify on the counterfoil which chemist you would like to collect your medicines from, if you wish to go there directly. Please allow 72 hours for all requests before collection.
The doctors need to see all patients on repeat medication at least once a year for a checkup, and to assess ongoing need for repeat drugs. If you have not taken any medication for six months please see staff.
Please leave your request at reception allowing at least 72 hours before collection. You have the option to either collect the prescription from the surgery or a pharmacy of your choice. In certain circumstances the doctor will need to see you before issuing a repeat prescription.
